The core problem was capacity. Are we properly resourced for the work we need to do? Without reliable data, there was no good way to answer it. "I wanted to get a clearer view of our capacity and task allocation. This really talks to whether or not we are properly resourced for the anticipated work we need to perform," explains Director Adam Bird.
Before Link, Balance & Flow was running off Excel templates. It did the job, but only just. Task allocation was painful and the visibility available in XPM wasn't enough to run the practice with any real confidence.

Getting set up was straightforward. "Onboarding was super simple. Like any new system, you need to learn to drive it, but the support from the Link Team is first class."
Day to day, the impact was immediate. "Workflow status meetings have been much easier." With the whole team able to see where things are at, the conversations that matter happen faster.
The commercial upside has been just as tangible. For a practice billing on fixed fees, knowing where time goes is the difference between a well-priced engagement and a poorly-priced one. "It has helped with our pricing of our fixed fees, as we have a clearer idea of what is involved and where the leakages are."
